Feeling The Pressure

As a Peace Corps volunteer, others depend on me, they use me as a resource, they look to me as a leader, they expect me to change their lives forever. No pressure right? Haha I've had to grow into a mover-shaker-mix-things-up-er and hopefully I'll live up to their expectations.

Remember when I posted about planning a Dream Board lesson? It was a huge success! Aunt Liz and Angela, thanks so much for all the magazines. Here's one of my 6th grade classes working on their dream boards:

I miss my kitty Oliver who had surgery last week. He's the sweetest, bravest kitty in the world so this is in honor of him:
First World Cat Problems
Also, this happened today (in Russian):
Me: Oh I'm supposed to jump in this lake when it's so cold out today that it's intermittently snowing?
Colleague: Yes [words I don't understand] Jesus was baptized today [more words I don't know] it's tradition for the whole town to jump in. Ready?
Me: OK, I guess that makes sense... here's to integration! *jump*

Haha, I hope you lived through your ice bath! I'm so glad the magazines came in handy. Also, in funny/ridiculous/sad news...I saved the big chocolate bar for last, because it looked the best. I ate all the tiny ones and left the big bar in Eamon's truck. You made a little field mouse so very happy. One found his way into the truck and lived like a king for a night, nibbling the heck out of that bar. I took lots of pics of the aftermath and will be posting about it soon. :D So even though I'm sad, you helped a little mouse make it through a cold NY night with a little Ukrainian chocolate love.
